U.S. Pavement Services has hired U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant Michael Shaughnessy as a National Project Management Intern in the National Accounts division, through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Hiring Our Heroes. In sync with U.S. Pavement’s longstanding dedication to hiring veterans through their Pledge to Hire Veterans, Hiring Our Heroes is another initiative helping to pave the way for companies nationwide to hire veterans.

U.S. Pavement Hosts 6th Annual Pledge to Hire Veterans Red Sox Game at Fenway Park
On Sunday, June 10th, U.S. Pavement Services hosted their 6th annual Pledge to Hire Veterans Red Sox game. This year, U.S. Pavement hosted over 350 veterans, including two WWII veterans, and their families at Fenway Park for a fun-filled day. The morning began with a walking tour of the park to get a behind the scenes look of “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark,” before the Red Sox faced the Chicago White Sox in the afternoon. The annual event, to honor military veterans and raise awareness for the Pledge to Hire Veterans initiative, is just one way U.S. Pavement gives back to those who give so much to our country.

This holiday season U.S. Pavement Services delivered Thanksgiving Turkeys and Christmas trees to area veteran’s organizations. This year marks the 4th year we have delivered the festive items to those who have served and are currently serving our country. U.S. Pavement hosts over 300 Veterans and their familes at Fenway Park on June 4th
On Saturday, June 4th, for the fourth consecutive year, U.S. Pavement Services, Inc. hosted over 300 veterans and their families at a Boston Red Sox game to honor military veterans and raise awareness for the Pledge to Hire Veterans initiative. When U.S. Pavement Services CEO, Mike Musto established the initiative in 2014, it was a way to give to back to those who have given so much. Giving back is a core value of the company but for Mike it’s personal.

Friday night is NASCAR Camping World Truck Series night featuring the Nextera Energy Resources 250 #NEXTERA250 race at Daytona International Speedway. This year U.S. Pavement Services, Inc. is the proud sponsor of the #68 Chevy Silverado driven by Clay Greenfield. The truck, decked out in our signature black and gold colors and 1-800-PAVEMENT vanity number, will debut a brand new decal on the rear quarter panel. The decal is the #1 Contractor in America shield. It’s the top industry award and something that stands out in the highly competitive environment of NASCAR racing.
