Parking lots come in many different shapes and sizes. As a result, pavement and concrete projects are a balancing act of complex variables -- like ADA compliance, long-term asset management, and reducing or eliminating short-term liability issues – and the capacity to perform work without impacting your property’s operation. Solving the Complexity/Capacity dynamic for our clients has been the core of our approach and success over the past 30+ years in the pavement business.
Recap below of an excellant article by Jessica Stoikes from Pavement Maintenance and Reconstruction - What Causes Asphalt to Crack and Pothole in Winter and How to Fix It. Perfect timing with the winter season now coming to a close.
Just about a year ago, we lost a beloved member of the U.S. Pavement Services family, Danny Dailey. Danny’s spirit is felt in our hearts and his memory will never fade from our minds.
U.S. Pavement Services recently completed a precise and very technical mill and pave project for Jordan’s Furniture and Kelly's Roast Beef in Framingham, MA. The scope included mill and overlay of the main entry and exit roads, the main loop around the Jordan’s parking lot and building, and the Kelly's Drive-Thru lane. We also completed drainage reconstruction and line striping of the entire campus. This project was truly a team effort made by our paving, milling, and striping crews but still nothing out of the ordinary for us. All of our business partners, like Jordan’s Furniture and Kelly’s Roast Beef have come to expect only the best workmanship coupled with outstanding value from our crews.
U.S. Pavement Services donated their time, equipment and asphalt paving services to create a sorting surface for the Clean River Project in Methuen, MA. This platform will make it easier for the Clean River team to sort through the debris pulled from the Merrimack River and separate recyclables without including gravel in the mix. The gravel content was causing some debris loads to be rejected and the newly donated asphalt surface now allows for a cleaner process. U.S. Pavement paving Crew 2, Daryl Womack, Immer Chavarria, Bob Anderson, Kynan Mello, Dan Baker, and Scott Gallagher were pleased to donate their time and expertise for this great cause.
